Miami Re-Signs Caleb Martin To Three-Year Deal
2 years agoMiami Heat small forward Caleb Martin will reportedly return to the team on a three-year contract worth $20 million, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Martin's deal comes just days after his brother, Cody, received a four-year, $32 million deal to remain in Charlotte. Caleb is coming off a career season with Miami, in which he averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 boards per outing, shooting 50.7 percent overall across 60 games (12 starts). A valuable member of the Heat's second unit, Martin could see an increased role in 2022-23 with P.J. Tucker having departed to Philadelphia in free agency.
