Michael Carter-Williams Will Miss Thursday’s Contest
4 years agoOrlando Magic point guard Michael Carter-Williams (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Knicks due to a non-COVID-19 illness. Much like New York, Orlando's PG depth will be heavily short-handed with Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz also unavailable. Chasson Randle stands to continue seeing a sizable role with Carter-Williams down, although he'll be a risky DFS asset in GPP contests due to the Knicks' excellence on the defensive end of the floor. Since entering the starting lineup 13 games ago, Carter-Williams has averaged 11.4 points, 5.8 assists and 4.4 boards per outing. His next chance to suit up comes Friday versus Brooklyn.
