2 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer has been traded to the Minnesota Twins. This adds on to the already big day for the Twins. The Tigers will receive right-hander Sawyer Gipson-Long in exchange for Fulmer. This season, Fulmer has a 3.20 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 39/20 K/BB ratio through 39.3 innings of work. The additions of Fulmer and Jorge Lopez should hopefully be a significant upgrade to Minnesota's bullpen. As for Detroit, they receive a fairly decent arm in Gipson-Long. He has pitched well in High-A and will hopefully move quickly through the minor league system.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
