Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Draws First Start Of Year
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets small/power forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was inserted into the starting lineup for the first time this season during Wednesday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Marvin Williams (shoulder) on the shelf, head coach James Borrego opted for the 25-year-old Kidd-Gilchrist to shift in off the bench. He didn’t see a huge boost in minutes or role, finishing with nine points and five rebounds across 23 minutes, but his 10 shot attempts can only bode well moving forward, making him an appealing low-cost DFS play Friday against the Denver Nuggets.
