7 years agoChicago White Sox pitching prospect Michael Kopech put up another strong performance for Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday. Kopech went six innings ahd allowed one hit, one run, two walks and struck out eight batters. Kopech now has a 2.14 ERA and 29 strikeouts with just six walks over 21 innings. Kopech certainly looks ready to help the White Sox, but even with Miguel Gonzalez (shoulder) out and Carson Fulmer sporting a 6.00 ERA, the White Sox seem in no rush to start the clock on Kopech. Kopech will be up at some point this year, it’s just a matter of when. He should be stashed in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
