3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox activated starting pitcher Michael Kopech from the paternity list on Friday and optioned reliever Ryan Burr to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Kopech went on the paternity list on Tuesday and will return without missing a start. The 26-year-old will take the mound next on Saturday against the New York Yankees. Kopech has been excellent for fantasy managers through his first seven starts of the year, allowing only six earned runs while walking 17 and striking out 33 in 35 innings pitched. He'll have to cut down on his free passes if he wants to continue having success, though, and his matchup on Saturday against the Yanks will be a tough one.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
