3 years agoChicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech (hamstring) threw off flat ground and also threw a bullpen session on Tuesday. Manager Tony La Russa said that Kopech will throw another bullpen session on Wednesday and it's a possibility that he will throw a simulated game this weekend. Kopech has been sidelined since May 26 with a hamstring strain, but it looks like he is close to returning. Kopech has mainly worked out of the bullpen, but has made three starts. Regardless of his role, Kopech has been dominant on the hill and has registered a 1.72 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings. Kopech should be rostered in all formats when he is healthy.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
