4 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Michael Kopech went 1 2/3 innings in relief and allowed one hit, no runs, four walks and struck out four on Wednesday versus the Cincinnati Reds. Kopech has made two starts for the Pale Hose, but most of his work has been out of the bullpen. Regardless of the role, the former top pitching prospect has been lights out this season. The walks were out of the norm for Kopech on Wednesday with him having issuing just four on the season entering the contest. Kopech has now thrown 20 1/3 innings and sports a shiny 1.33 ERA to go along with 34 strikeouts and eight walks. Even in a relief role, Kopech has pitched well enough to help managers in all formats and especially those that count ratio categories.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
