7 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera added four hits to his season total on Wednesday against the Pirates. The veteran slugger played only the first game of the doubleheader, but did his part to contribute to Detroit's 13-run outburst by driving in two runs and scoring three of his own. Miggy has been ridiculous over the last seven games, amassing a .520/.600/.840 line with a homer and seven RBI. He gave fantasy owners a scare earlier this season when he left a game with lower back tightness, but he's done nothing but hit this season and should continue to do so as long as he stays healthy.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
