4 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera led the way in an Opening Day victory, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the 3-2 win over the Indians. Cabrera's go-ahead shot in the first inning was the first home run in MLB this year, and No. 488 for his career. While he isn't the same hitter that he used to be just a few years ago, Cabrera showed he still has some pop in his bat, and he could possibly be a decent fill-in corner infield option when needed in deep-mixed or AL-only formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
