2 years agoDetroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera isn't in the starting lineup on Tuesday for a matchup with the Chicago White Sox and right-handed pitcher Dylan Cease. Cabrera is batting .289 with a .328 on-base percentage and three home runs in 201 plate appearances this season. It'll be Austin Meadows moving from the outfield to designated hitter to start at Cabrera's usual position against Cease and the White Sox. Meadows is batting cleanup on Tuesday and is hitting .246 with a .343 on-base percentage in 140 plate appearances in 2022 for Detroit.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
