3 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (calf) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. He exited Tuesday's game due to calf tightness, so his absence on Wednesday isn't shocking. Hopefully, Cabrera will be able to return after a few days of rest and he won't need an injured list stint. Eric Haase will serve as the DH, while Jonathan Schoop is hitting second and starting at first. The Cardinals have righty John Gant on the mound who has been fairly reliable this season. Possibly, Schoop is a low-end streaming choice, but there are likely going to be better options available.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
