3 years agoDetroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera and first baseman Spencer Torkelson are both sitting out of the lineup for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics. Austin Meadows will serve as the DH and will hit second, while Harold Castro draws the start at first base and is hitting fifth against A's right-hander Frankie Montas. Fantasy managers should expect both Miggy and Torkelson to return to the starting lineup for the second game of the twin bill against right-hander Adrian Martinez. Cabrera already reached the 3,000-hit milestone this year, but he has only one home run and nine RBI in his first 25 games. Torkelson, meanwhile, is hitting just .160 with three dingers and eight RBI in his first 26 major league contests.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
