Mikal Bridges Fires Up Career-High 15 Shot Attempts
4 years agoPhoenix Suns small forward Mikal Bridges dropped a game-high 22 points across 36 minutes in Sunday's victory over Sacramento. The 15 shot attempts that Bridges compiled set a new career high, as he knocked down nine overall, including four from behind the arc. No longer just a defensively-savvy weapon for the Suns, Bridges' role in the offense when combined with his multi-category contributions makes for a must-roster commodity in nearly all season-long formats. He also added seven boards versus the Kings, rebounding convincingly from the rough showing that he had during the first game of the back-to-back. He'll likely be tasked with slowing Brandon Ingram when he next takes the floor Tuesday against New Orleans, but with Chris Paul (12 assists) running the show, Bridges' offensive outlook is the brightest its been in his career.
