3 years agoThe San Diego Padres placed starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (triceps) on the 15-day injured list on Sunday with a right triceps strain. The move is retroactive to May 21. Clevinger was originally slated to start on Sunday, but he was pushed back a day as MacKenzie Gore got the start. Now the Padres have an opening on the hill for Monday's game. Clevinger has made three starts so far this year and he's gone 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. The Friars recalled right-handed pitcher Steven Wilson from Triple-A to take Clevinger's roster spot.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
