6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley fired up 19 shots in his 32 minutes during Wednesday’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Only six of those went in -- none of which came from three -- but for Conley owners, a 15-point, six-assist effort is difficult to dislike. Entering the game 10-for-17 from deep over his last three games, the 0-for-6 on Wednesday appears to be an anomaly that came against a defensive-minded bunch. His next chance to take the floor comes Friday against the Miami Heat, whom he hung 22 points and eight assists on back on Dec. 14.--Jesse Borek
