6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley led the way offensively Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers, finishing with 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting. He was all over the stat sheet, adding seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks, while bringing his scoring average up to 21.1 per game, which has him on pace for a new career high. Conley has now scored at least 20 points in each of his last five games. His next match-up comes Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, whom he has not faced off against since he dropped 27 points in last year’s season-opener.--Jesse Borek
