Mike Conley Dumps In Game-High 30 Points
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley poured in 30 points, doled out nine assists, grabbed four rebounds, came up with a steal as well as blocked a shot in Wednesday's victory over the Spurs. He was 11-for-23 from the field, 3-for-7 from the three-point line, and 5-for-5 from the charity stripe. The 31-year-old did not commit a turnover against the Spurs, marking the first time that has occurred since Nov. 2. The 12th-year vet has played exceptionally well over the last seven games, averaging 25.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 48.8 percent from the field as well as 43.1 percent from beyond the arc during this stretch. Conley, who has scored 58 points over his last two games, will look to continue his solid play against a Clippers squad that has been vulnerable against opposing point guards this year, although they have been better defensively over the last five games.
