5 years agoUtah Jazz guard Mike Conley kick-started his season with a 29-point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Coming into the game, Conley was hitting only 25% of his shots and 15% of his three-point attempts, but that changed on Wednesday as he hit 11 of his 17 attempts from the field and five of his eight three-pointers. He will close Week 2 with road games in Sacramento on Friday before a rematch with the Clippers on Sunday. Both teams have bottom-11 defenses in terms of points per game so far this season, so Conley will have the opportunity to continue righting the ship after a shaky start to his tenure with the Jazz.--Euan Leith
