6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor had one of his best starts of the season Sunday. Minor went six innings, with eight strikeouts and two earned runs surrendered on four hits and one walk. This season it has been unusual for Minor to have this much success on the road. Sunday's start brings Minor's road ERA down to 6.50 in 44 1/3 innings with 38 strikeouts. Other than his road performances the limit to Minor's fantasy value is the Rangers wish to limit his innings this season. Minor is their only current starter under contract for 2018. However, down the stretch this will make it difficult to trust Minor as a fantasy asset in case he gets pulled from games early to save his arm.--Ben Rolfe
