6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor is a pitcher to avoid in DFS formats Saturday. This season, Minor has a 5.65 ERA with 56 strikeouts in 65 1/3 innings. Minor faces off against the Colorado Rockies, who scored eight run in the game Friday. Minor has faced the Rockies eight times previously, six starts and two relief appearances, and owns a 3-2 record with a 5.73 ERA. Minor has pitched better at home this season but he still has a 4.17 ERA when pitching at the Rangers ballpark. In addition, Minor has surrendered eight of his 12 home runs at home this season. There is not enough strikeout upside from Minor to make him worth the risk in DFS.--Ben Rolfe
