Mike Minor Throws Complete-Game Gem
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor threw his second complete game of the season in a 4-1 win over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night. Minor gave up five hits and just one run, a solo shot in the fourth inning off the bat of Brandon Dixon. He also struck out seven and walked just two, throwing 73-of-108 pitches for strikes in the contest. Minor improves to 8-4 on the season, holding a 2.40 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 110/37 K/BB ratio over 112 and 2/3 innings. The eighth-year veteran is far exceeding expectations to this point in the season, and fantasy owners who took a chance on him have been rewarded handsomely. Continue to start Minor in all fantasy formats.
