Mike Moustakas Homers In Win Wednesday

4 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Mike Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a 3-0 win over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Moustakas provided all the offense the Reds would get with one swing of the bat, taking Chicago starter Yu Darvish deep in the first inning. The homer was his second in the past week, although Moustakas only has four dingers overall this season. It has been a slow first year in Cincy for Moustakas, who is hitting just .236 with seven runs and 14 RBI in 89 at-bats. His bat is starting to come around for fantasy gamers, however, as he's hitting .286 with four RBI over his last seven games. He will look to stay hot against Cubs starter Adbert Alzolay on Thursday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
