Mike Scott Logs Season-High 22 Points
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers power forward Mike Scott had a breakout shooting performance during Saturday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, finishing with a season-high 22 points, while shooting 6-for-9 from three-point range. Scott has been percolating over the past four games, having delivered three double-digit scoring outings, along with having stroked 16 made threes. Without Joel Embiid in the mix, Philadelphia has gone smaller in the frontcourt, allowing Scott -- who came over in the deal to acquire Tobias Harris -- to snag more minutes and put his arsenal on display. He’s worth keeping an eye on while both Boban Marjanovic and Justin Patton remain out, as the Sixers stuck to an eight-man rotation Saturday, which should mean ample offensive chances for Scott moving forward.
