2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (back) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Houston Astros due to upper back spasms. After the game, Angels manager Phil Nevin stated that he removed Trout "without any discussion," saying that he "didn't like the way he was moving." Nevin also added that he believes that Trout won't require a stint on the injured list. Trout was 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts in Tuesday's game before being lifted. He's had a surprisingly rough time at the plate in July. Over 10 games, he's gone just 6-for-36 with one extra-base hit (a homer), two walks and 18 strikeouts.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
