Mike Trout Resting Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout appears to be getting a day of rest on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Trout returned from the injured list last Friday and had played in six straight games, so the Angels are just giving the 31-year-old outfielder a breather. In six games since his return, Trout has gone 7-for-23 (.304) with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored. It's great to see that his back/ribs injury that had kept him out since July 12 hasn't really affected him since he's been back. Trout will remain a must-start fantasy asset whenever he's on the field. Magneuris Sierra is starting in center field and hitting sixth against Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen on Thursday. Sierra should be avoided in DFS. He has 13 hits in 69 at-bats and is still searching for his first home run.
