5 years agoCharlotte Hornets small/power forward Miles Bridges collected 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting during Saturday’s defeat to the Dallas Mavericks. Bridges has now hit the 20-point mark four times in his last five games; over his first 47 contests, he recorded 20 or more points just four times. While his rebounding was held under wraps Saturday with just three boards, his 15 shot attempts and 36 minutes continue to bode well for his short- and long-term prospects. He next faces Detroit on Monday, whom he has dropped 16 and 15 points against, respectively, in his last two meetings.--Jesse Borek
