4 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges stepped up for his team in a 114-97 win over the Pacers on Friday. With Gordon Hayward (foot) forced to leave the game in the second quarter with a foot sprain, Bridges took advantage of the opportunity, scoring a season-high 23 points with 10 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season. The 23-year-old added four triples, two steals, a block, and an assist in 31 minutes. Bridges has two double-doubles in his last four games- and would be one of the main beneficiaries if Hayward has to miss time. Up next is a Sunday matchup against the Celtics. They've allowed the 10th-most points per game to small forwards.--Tim Capurso
