3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Anthony Edwards (illness) has been deemed questionable to play in Wednesday's matchup vs. Washington due to flu-like symptoms. Edwards is yet to miss a game this season, so it's not clear how Minnesota would distribute his minutes in the case of an absence, but Malik Beasley, Josh Okogie, and Taurean Prince would be the leading candidates for an elevated workload. Edwards' second professional season has seen continued growth from the 2020 NBA Draft's No. 1 pick, as his scoring average has bumped up to 22 points per game, while snagging an average of two more boards on a nightly basis.
