Minnesota Vikings Defense In Great Week 3 Spot
5 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings have been lights-out on defense at home during the Mike Zimmer era, and that is unlikely to change in Week 3 against an overmatched Oakland Raiders offensive attack. The Vikings have allowed just 16.5 points/game to the Falcons and the Packers and have racked up six sacks, five turnovers, and a blocked kick through two weeks. Slot cornerback Mackenzie Alexander won't play and Anthony Barr is questionable, but playmaking defensive back Mike Hughes is expected to make his debut. Expect the defensive line to force Derek Carr into mistakes all afternoon - start the Vikings Defense with confidence as a top-5 play in Week 3.
