3 years agoThe Texas Rangers activated first baseman/catcher Mitch Garver from the COVID-19 injured list on Tuesday. He will be batting fifth and slotting in as designated hitter for Tuesday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Garver wound up spending a little under two weeks on the COVID-19 injured list. He played in a rehab game at Double-A Frisco on Sunday and went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the game. Over 39 games in the majors this year, Garver has slashed .206/.283/.397 with seven home runs, 16 RBI and 15 runs.
