2 years agoTexas Rangers catcher/designated hitter Mitch Garver and starting pitcher Glenn Otto were both placed on the COVID-19-related injured list on Friday. Otto was the expected starter for Friday night against the Chicago White Sox, but now the Rangers will start reliever Matt Bush in what figures to be a bullpen game. As for Garver, his stint on the IL will be catcher Jonah Heim's opportunity to play close to every day. If you need a replacement for Garver in a deeper league, Heim is not a bad option, as the 26-year-old is slashing .262/.324/.485 with seven homers on the season.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
