5 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-3 victory over the Cleveland Indians. The homer came in the eighth inning off of reliever Tyler Clippard and gave the Twins a two-run cushion en route to the win. Garver is slashing .294/.372/.619 with 14 homers, 36 RBI, and 34 runs scored in what has been a breakout campaign for the 28-year-old. He holds a .325 ISO, .425 wOBA, and .991 OPS (10th among hitters with a minimum of 150 plate appearances). Garver does cede some playing time to Jason Castro, but he has been one of the top fantasy catchers in 2019 and should be rostered and started in all formats.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
