6 years agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is making progress in his recovery from a sprained left ankle and may return soon. "He’s progressing," coach David Fizdale said after the Knicks' shootaround Tuesday at Pepsi Center. "Yeah, he went through shootaround today. It was good. So he’s getting close." The 7-foot-1 rookie has been out since Dec. 16. While Robinson likely won't play Tuesday and probably not Friday, he could play next Monday (Trail Blazers) or Tuesday (Warriors). The 20-year-old could be worth a stash now as he will see plenty of playing time when he returns for the rebuilding Knicks.--Daniel Benjamin
