Mitchell Robinson Posts A Double-Double Against Atlanta
5 years agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson had arguably his best game of the 2019-20 season, dropping a career-high 22 points with 13 rebounds and two blocks in just 29 minutes off the bench. Robinson has stepped up his level of play since the opening game of December against Boston. Across eight games since then, the sophomore is averaging 12.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. The foul trouble is still a matter of concern, but Robinson seems to be handling it in non garbage-time minutes. If he can stay on the court long enough, he should start to look like the dominant defensive force we saw towards the end of last season.
