Mitchell Robinson Records First Double-Double Of Season
5 years agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson played a season-high 27 minutes during Saturday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets and used his time on the floor to collect his first double-double of the year. Robinson, who turned his ankle during the fourth quarter, finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds, knocking down a season-best five free throws. Since a three-game absence, Robinson has appeared off the bench in each of New York’s past two contests, although it’s feasible that head coach David Fizdale reinserts him into the starting five Monday against Cleveland. Robinson remains a volatile fantasy play due to his minutes fluctuation, but is still an elite shot-blocking force for those in desperate need in category format leagues.
