Mitchell Robinson Remains Without Return Date
3 years agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (foot) remains without a timetable for his return. The big man sustained a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot back in March, an injury that required surgery. Mitchell also dealt with a broken hand throughout the season, so Thibs may play it safe by holding him out for the remainder of the year, even if the team advances beyond the first-round matchup against the Hawks. In the meantime, Nerlens Noel should be in line for more work. However, Taj Gibson has established himself as a more reliable presence underneath the basket, especially on the defensive end, and could be a better DFS option between the two.
