Mito Pereira Continues To Impress In 2022
3 years agoIn his first full season on the PGA Tour, Mito Pereira continues to show he belongs. Since The Genesis Invitational, Pereira has made six of eight cuts, racking up three top-20's and has finished no worse than T30 in his made cuts. Now Pereira will have a chance to keep his season rolling as he makes his first PGA Championship start this week in Tulsa. Pereira won't struggle with the distance of Southern Hills, as he averages over 300 yards per drive, and is one of the best players on tour with an iron in his hand. Pereira sits fourth on tour in greens in regulation percentage, and 13th on tour in strokes gained on approach, which will be huge this week. The question for Pereira will be on the greens. His inconsistency when putting has been the only thing holding him back this season, but at his DFS price, he is worth a look either way this week in Tulsa.
