6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin managed 19 points on 7-for-17 shooting, including hitting three triples, while adding four rebounds, four assists, a steal and a blocked shot over 36 minutes in Monday's 100-94 road loss against the Utah Jazz. He did account for four of the team's nine total turnovers, and he turned in a minus-8 rating as a result. The stat line wasn't terrible, but it was a far cry from his 44 points on Saturday in Los Angeles against his former team. Of course, he was playing with a little extra oomph in his old stomping grounds. He'll look to bounce back closer to his season average when the Orlando Magic pay a visit to the Motor City on Wednesday.--Daniel Dobish
