6 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris remained in the starting lineup for Monday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, logging a game-high 34 minutes en route to finishing with 18 points, three assists and two rebounds. Morris has settled into the starting point guard spot with Jamal Murray sidelined, as in his last four starts, Morris has turned the ball over just twice, including zero times Monday, which has allowed head coach Mike Malone to keep Morris on the floor for long stretches. Should Murray miss Wednesday’s game versus the up-tempo Brooklyn Nets, Morris remains a must-own.--Jesse Borek
