Monte Morris Draws Start Monday
4 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris has been elevated to the starting five for Monday's contest versus the Pistons with Gary Harris (groin) unavailable. When Harris missed time earlier this year, head coach Michael Malone had opted to use Bol Bol as a starter, but Morris will instead be tabbed to start for the second time this season. While Morris' 19 career starts have traditionally come when Jamal Murray was unavailable, Morris is averaging 13.7 points and 4.4 assists in those contests, giving him elevated DFS appeal Monday and for all games moving forward where he'll serve as a starter. With Harris' absence looking to be a multi-game affair, Morris retains short-term season-long value in medium-sized or larger leagues.
