3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. The 28-year-old has missed the last three games with a hip injury and had only been back in the lineup for five games after a previous hip injury sidelined him in late July. Despite having an injury-filled campaign, Betts is still hitting .277/.378/.521 with 17 homers and 44 RBIs in 87 games this season. Betts is replaced in Wednesday's lineup by fellow injury-prone outfielder Cody Bellinger, who is slashing .320/.370/.640 with two home runs, three RBI, and three runs scored on eight hits over his last seven games.--Chelena Goldman
