6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts (abdominal strain) hit again Sunday morning. Betts will also go through his normal pregame routine and see how he feels. After Sunday's game a decision will be made about whether he will head out on rehab assignment or not. Prior to his injury Betts was having an amazing season. In 213 plate appearances, Betts has a .359 batting average with 17 home runs and 13 steals. Hopefully Betts is another week or 10 days away from returning to the majors. Once he returns he should resume his place as a top-10 outfielder.--Ben Rolfe
