Mookie Betts To Be Activated Prior To Sunday's Game

2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (ribs) will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated these intentions late on Saturday night and he also added that Betts would play in right field upon his return -- it was initially reported that Betts could return at second base. Outfielder Chris Taylor (foot) left with an injury on Saturday and he'll be held out on Sunday, so Betts will be taking over for him in right field. Betts has been on the injured list since June 19 with a rib injury. He's in the midst of a fantastic 2022 campaign, slashing .273/.349/.535 with 17 home runs, six stolen bases, 40 RBI and 53 runs over 60 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
