3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) will be sidelined for Sunday's contest versus the Los Angeles Angels. Betts exited Friday's game with hip discomfort, but started on Saturday and made it through that contest. The Dodgers have every reason to play it safe with Betts moving forward and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them proceeding with caution in the second half. With Betts sidelined, outfielder Cody Bellinger will take over and bat eighth versus rookie Reid Detmers. Bellinger has been having an awful season at the plate, but did homer on a Saturday.
