Moritz Wagner Impresses In Summer League Against Warriors
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers rookie center Moritz Wagner's role in L.A. for 2018 is unclear after the team acquired LeBron James and have likely entered win-now mode, but Wagner is showing in the summer league that he can be valuable as someone who stretches the floor from the five spot. On Thursday against the Warriors, Wagner scored 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting and was 2-for-4 from deep. He added 13 rebounds and four blocks as well. Wagner could be a fantasy sleeper if the Lakers don't make any more moves in the front court, as he'd mainly be competing with JaVale McGee for minutes.
