Myles Turner Sets Season Highs With 27 Points, 14 Rebounds
5 years agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner became the focal point of the team’s frontcourt once Domantas Sabonis was ruled out just prior to tip-off, allowing Turner to turn in season highs in both scoring (27) and rebounding (14) during Friday’s win over the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have been notoriously tossed around by opposing centers this year, so while the performance -- which also saw three assists and two blocks -- was immensely impressive, it’s worth contextualizing. Albeit, should Sabonis remain out Monday versus Philadelphia (who is without All-Star center Joel Embiid), Turner should be in a golden spot from a DFS perspective.
