2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (back) is set to make his first rehab appearance at Triple-A Worcester on Sunday. He is expected to throw three innings in the outing. Eovaldi has been on the injured list with lower back inflammation since June 12. It's unclear how many rehab outings he'll need prior to being activated from the injured list, but he's clearly trending in the right direction. Seeing him back in the rotation right after the All-Star break isn't out of the question. The 32-year-old has made 12 starts this year and he's gone 4-2 with a 3.16 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
