3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against left-hander Nestor Cortes and the New York Yankees. Andy Ibanez will be covering first and batting sixth in the game. Lowe has been struggling at the plate so far in May. Over five games this month, he's gone 2-for-20 with one walk, nine strikeouts and no extra-base hits. Thanks to his strong start to the season, he still has a solid .270 batting average on the year, but he's only managed to hit one home run over 26 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
