Naz Reid Goes For Career-High 29 Points During Defeat
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward/center Naz Reid has taken on an extended role with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined, but he finally parlayed that increased time on the floor into a massive scoring performance Saturday, dropping a career-high 29 points versus the Thunder. Despite his prolific scoring output, Reid was unable to convert on a runner across the lane in the waning seconds of regulation, sealing the win for OKC. In just 27 minutes of action, Reid went 12-for-21 from the floor, adding six rebounds and two steals to his stat line. Should D'Angelo Russell remain sidelined for Monday's matchup with the Mavericks, Reid will likely be one of the premier DFS options on the slate as he can now make the case to be rostered on a short-term basis in all season-long formats.
